Finally getting around to working on my cure fridge for dry cure sausage.

Got the inside box location and mounted. Has a seal on the back of the box.

I'm using a sprinkler riser for the pipe through the side.

Working complete.

The Dayton humidity controller. Set the dial and plug the humidifier into the Dayton.

Gotta drill a hole for the temp and hygrometer probes yet.

Gotta head to Lowes for some SS screws.

Let me know when its done... I'll come pick it up................

Ill be watching this one! My wife and I love dry cured sausage. If this thing works out ill have to try and score me one of them there beverage fridges for myself.

Just curious Nepas, why did you decide to mount that electrical distribution box inside rather than on outside of the fridge?

I build mine chamber  just lately and was contemplating the overall wiring concept, but the inside mount lost on several points.

Cheers

I have had the Dayton for awhile so i might as well use it

There are other controllers like the CAP ones.

Probably due to the humidity controller plugs directly into an outlet?

Great start...JJ

Moving right along here.

Got my digital temp and hygrometer mounted. The controller has a piggyback plug that the fridge will plug into. This will control the fridge.

Nice Nepas!  I planted the seeds for building one of these one day.  I've been purchasing some good dry-cured sausage and have gotten my wife hooked on it.  Last weekend mentioned to her about making our own and said I needed a fridge and equipment for curing.  Now all I have to do is finish some other honeydew projects before I start this one.
