hey every my name is mike im out in southern virginia. im 21 years old and im currently working on getting my associates degree in the culinary arts. i really love smoked food. i currently have a masterbuilt electric smokehouse. heres a couple of pics of it . so far ive only smoked a rack of ribs didnt come out the best but it was all in the rub gotta work on it. if anyone has any good pork loin rub setups please share.

First off welcome to SMF there Mike. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.

well ive got my 2 pack porkloin going i rubbed it with a mixture of brown sugar,, parsley onion powder, garlic salt (ment to use powder), paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and salt n pepper. ill let yall know how it turned out and ofcourse ill be uploading some Qview for everyone. in about 3-4 hours i should have some tasty pork!!
