I'm brand new into the smoking thing-just ordered a camp chef 18" smoke vault. I primarily am interested in smoking venison for snack sticks (would love a good recipe) and jerky. I also would like to start smoking chicken and turkey breasts as I've had "gourmet smoked turkey breast" and loved it.
Any tips you all would like to throw my way would be greatly appreciated. Really interested in a good healthy recipe for spicy venison sticks to get me started. I did some research about "how to" smoke them, but haven't seen a good recipe or heard where to buy a cure mix.
