Inspires me to build me a small smokehouse.  Sausage looks great.  One question, are you planning on painting or using some kind of sealer on the OSB (exterior) you used for the smokehouse?  Or at $78 cost, your not worried about it lasting for years?

The smoke from the amazen is all you use?   There is no heat under that?   I noticed the pellet tray on a rock which is on a burner.  The smokehouse is very new to me, but it would look good on my campsite this summer.

Great looking smokehouse, so glad I was able to help from my plans in your build, definitely great workmanship!  you will enjoy it!  I think I'm at a point now that I can hang some meat, flick a bic lighter and get a full smoke, mine is so well seasoned, lol!  (just kidding!).

Thanks Bruno, Yes I'm planning on a sealer, my dad has a woodworking shop and hope to get enough

Oak boards to do a overlap siding on it after sealing.

Yes BeeboQ, the AMZNPS is all i used for the smoke. I started the pellets on a block, then sat the block on the floor of the smokehouse and used my propane burner for the heat.Starting at 100º and raising the temp every hour or so until the sausage

hit an IT of 156º. I timed it so when the AMZNPS ran out of pellets my IT was where i wanted it.(10 hours)

Thanks Pops, your build looked very feasible and inexpensive, plus your recipes are so great, i thought...................how could i go wrong ?!?! It works very well, and hoping to acquire the burner you have in yours to have better control.

I hope it will be as seasoned as yours someday

Thanks Pops

for everything you do for us

Nice sausage! That is a huge smoke house!

If I had one that big it would be big enough so if the wife ever got too cranky, I could move out to the spare "house" for a day or two. LOL
