Hello, my name is Tim from Portland Oregon. I have a smoke hollow propane smoker with a home built arduino controller to run electric hot plates for lower temps. I have a 5lbs verticle stuffer, kitchen aide grinder attachment and a AMZN pellet smoker.I'm mostly into sausage (so far) but like to do jerky, ABT'S and generally anything smoked. Have been a member for a while and just browsing, but thought it's about time to sign in. Have been taking pics of most of my smokes but will start posting from here on out.

You live in a beautiful area, I used to live on Terwilliger near the Med School when I worked for Tektronix.

Sounds like you have a great set of smoking tools.  Looking forward to seeing some Q-View from you.

First off welcome to SMF there Tim. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
