Well, had some time today so decided once and for all to put an end to my gasser leaking grease, mop spray and other nasties on my concrete....and also make it a tad more mobile...

Simple 2x4 frame held together with pocket screws (man, that is one neat tool for any woodworker out there that don't have one), capped with some flakeboard and a set of casters I had laying around...

Here's the pan I fab'd out of flat aluminum stock.  Didn't have access to a break so I did it by hand. Simple corners just folded and riveted....also caulked the corners with silicone to keep any leaks at bay.  Also glued the pan down to the base with a healthy dose of silicone.

Side shot... rolls great.  Left over flat stock in the background....

Money shot... no more drips on the concrete and I can roll it anywhere...

Thanks for looking....

Nice jump with those hand done bends, they look real straight.  I've been thinking of doing something similar with my GOSM just to get it more mobile.  I like your simple design.

Good job.

Very nice - my problem is not the bottom so much as pulling the shelves out and having the product drip on the concrete. Need to get an outdoor mat

Thanks guys!

Curt, I scored the aluminum on the back side of the break a bit with a straight edge and utility knife before making the breaks... they came out fairly sharp...aluminum is fairly easy to work by hand....and as for simple.. yeah... I like things simple too....
