Avid BBQ'er, New To Smoking

Thread Starter

I'm an avid BBQ'er from Chicago who has a signed picture of Steven Raichlen on my basement wall and believe that his rules of bbq "Keep it hot, keep it clean, keep it lubricated" should not only be for grilling but life in general. I finally got my hands on a real smoker this Christmas, a significant upgrade from the smoker box on my grill.

I stumbled upon the site while trying to decide which smoker to pick (propane or electric) and thanks everyone for their input of my board post:

Look forward to stealing some of your recipes and learning tips from some of you experts.
