Had some leftover brisket from Christmas day and needed to do something with it so I fired up my dutch oven and made some chili. I used my competition bean chili recipe and just cut back on the ground pork and added my brisket left over from a few days prior.
It turned out great! Too bad I don't have the time on "cook day" to smoke a brisket first to use in my comp chili!
Here are some pics..enjoy!
A little onion and green pepper in some bacon fat..
Dump one and dump two(spices that is)
Greying up the pork and beef
Leftover brisket and some "heat" from the neighbors garden. Slightly roasted/blended jalapenos
Before brisket dump
After brisket dump and about to chow down.
Thanks for looking and all your help on the briskets in the first place!
