Iam also a newbie to this site. I live in coastal south Carolina (north of charleston). My old smoker was/is a Coleman smoking machine. It has seen better days. Now the search for a new smoker. Have considered to the camp chef smoker vault ( low end) & the big green egg( high end). Have read many reviews on both, but still confused. I like to smoke about anything there is and am always ready to try something new
