My name is John and i'm new to the forum and to smoking. I just got a Master Forge Electric Smoker as a gift. I've been grilling for years but never smoked anything before. I'm looking forward to learning a lot from everyone and getting the most out of my new unit. Any good ideas for a first timer? I've got my sights on doing a Boston butt as my first time project, but would like to venture out into other meats. Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated, especially on my particular smoker and the best way to use wood chips with it. I really love wood flavor and want to incorporate it as much as possible.
