Cant believed that I did that!!!!!!!! I'm so ashamed !!!!!!!

I put 2 Pork Butt in my smoker at 8AM Friday. I had to go to work at 5PM.

I knew the Butt wouldn't be done before I had to leave. So I had to put the Butt

in the...............................OVEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how can i ever look at my smoker again ??? never thought I would ever resort to

using the oven to finish off a smoke.

well at about 9PM my wife text me that they both reach 205. She turn off the oven

and just let they rest till I got home at midnight.

Also using SoFlaQuer's finishing sauce for the first time

here a few pictures:

got these few months ago for .99 cents/ Lbs

fire box all loaded up

probe it after 6 hours temp was around 160

put these on the gas grill for late lunch

here they are right before putting them in the OVEN !

ALL DONE

BEAR-VIEW

turn out great . even if I had to finish in the oven. I De-fat the juice and going to put some in the PP with the finishing sauce.

forgot to take pictures of it pulled. will take some and add later.

took the PP up to my dad's for christmas. it was a big hit !!!

make up some of Jeff's BBQ sauce . Every one love it.

turn out to be a nice time up there. even had a visitor in the back yard.

she stay there for about an hour.

Looks great! Like SmokinAl said, I think we've all finished off a butt or two in the oven! Besides, doing so makes the kitchen smell great!!!!

As for cheating on your smoker... well, that's something you're going to have to work out by spending A LOT more time with the smoker to make amends!
