I really enjoy this site.  Hopefully this site can help me and give me ideas on new smoking recipes, etc.  I really enjoy waterfowl hunting, hence the name.  I'm currently building a larger smoker since the smaller one from a local store just isn't big enough.  Its a 2 door commercial stainless steel freezer.  I have been making goose pepper/beer sticks with the smaller smoker.  They turn out great, I just need more room.  Next I will try venison since my whole family, and extended family, enjoys deer hunting.  I have never tried anything else really in a smoker.  I entered a family smoking pork rib contest last year and took 3rd place out of 11 entries.  I thought that was pretty good.  Hopefully this year I can do better.  Its fun all getting together sharing recipes and sampling all the contestants food.  They all are great.  Well its time to go.  Great site!  Everyone have a GREAT HOLIDAY SEASON!  Phil

Welcome aboard, Phil!

I think you will like it here with all the great smokers and game hunters we have.

I also think you have a lot to add to the forum?  Please post up some QVIEW of your smokes.  We don't see much goose being done here.

Good luck and good smoking.
