Have a new MasterBuilt 20050611 - the directions manual are pathetic.

 

Want to make sure I do it right - what are the important basics to seasoning the smoker before I cook something in it?

Spray it with Pam or wipe the inside with olive oil. Put some wood chunks in it & run it for 3 or 4 hours at 275-300.
