Thanks again guys. 

 

I think next time i would like to rub it down a little thicker, and let it sit in the fridge overnight. 

 

We are going to be doing another prime rib for christmas when the whole family (26 people in all) is over here. That one is a 12# rib, so this was deffinetly a warmup.

 

I will for sure post pictures when the time comes.

Well we went back to safeway today and they were sold out of prime rib...(Go figures.) Called the local meat shop and they were selling them for $14 a pound (safeway was $5.99) So bought a 10# brisket instead to smoke on christmas. 

 

Im actually really looking forward to it as it will be my first brisket ever.
