Concord NC.
Just ran across this forum looking for information on smoking.

I'm from Concord NC and i'm pretty new to smoking foods. I have 2 Boston butts in the smoker as I type this. I have been having problems with my current meat thermometer and after reading all the good reviews on the Maverick 732 I went and ordered one.

I'm looking forward to reading and as mush as I can from all the great knowledge posted here.

First off welcome to SMF there Tom. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.

Not sure if the pic will work from my phone or not? But the Boston butts turned out great. They were the first for me and my smoker. I'm already thinking about what I'm going to do next.

Had mine almost year now, smoke every weekend
Lots of 12+ hours smokes . Still works as good as the first day i got it
