The Office Park where I work was having the Oaks tree trimmed all of the wood was being feed into a chipper. It was killing me seeing all that good wood being turned into mulch.  So I deceived to ask them if I could take some. He asked if I wanted for fire wood and I replied that it was for smoking. After a few more questions he asked what size I wanted I told him 4 to 8" would be great. A hour later after I got off work I stop by to find about 1/4 of the wood in the picture below cut into 16" logs. After I loaded up he told me that if I stop by the next day he have some more.
