so from my understanding it seems the 732 has an external antenna giving it better range than the 73. I also read functionality is different... but whats so different between a device that gives a temp and another device that gives a temp? i mean thats all i use mine for i dont need any special alarms and crap.. anyway i found this

It's a cool link, and I almost converted my old ET-73, then Maverick came out with the new ET-732

I got my parts at a hobby shop, that sells RC Cars for about $3

I would be interested to know what kind of range folks get if they do this conversion? Not that I own the ET 73, just curious?

I put the 73 in the motorhome and use the 732 at the house - problem solved
