While strolling through my local Winn Dixie store yesterday I came across some Smithfield vacuum sealed baby backs. I'm not usually one to buy baby backs cause of the price and I do prefer spares better, but after closer inspection i noticed that they were on sale for $3.99 a pound, which still I dont think was that great of deal. It still grabbed my attention and I figured what the hell. I haven't done BB's in awhile, so after going through the them I found some that had the buy 1 get 1 free stickers on them. I was like no way, what a bargain. So I picked out a rack, one for $12 and one for $11 and headed to the counter. Now normal price for the ribs were $21 and $18, So two racks for $12 was beyond a bargain. Anyway, I headed up to the counter and bought the ribs. After heading out the door I was looking over my receipt and noticed that they charged me full price for both, but had taken off the $18 dollars, I promptly went back inside, showed them the error, but was informed that the sale price Isn't with the buy 1 get 1. I said, wait a minute, the ribs have the buy 1 get 1 free stickers, so they went ahead and gave me the deal. So again, I got roughly 6 pounds of baby backs for $12 bucks. Sorry for the long story, I just had to share it with you guys.
So this weekend it looks like I'll be doing some baby backs on the EECB.....can't wait.
