I'll start by saying I have not used nor own the master built. But I own and  use the master forge LPG smoker. After looking at the pic and specs of it the two are dang near the same, my guess is they will work about the same. Here's the smoker I have http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?partNumber=190449-95393-DGY784CP&langId=-1&storeId=10151&productId=3087719&catalogId=10051&cmRelshp=req&rel=nofollow&cId=PDIO1

I love mine only problem I have with it is wind and outside temps effects smoker temps bad, due to the thin material. I use a make shift wind break of insulated duct work and place it around the smoker, don't look the best but it helps. I am pondering an idea of making an insulated wind break using R13 insulation, to further help with this. Any Questions feel free to ask.
