Striper over Hardwood Coals

Thread Starter

A buddy stopped by with a Striper filet so we seasoned it, threw it on the fire and woofed it down with a few Killians.

Sorry only have a few pics of it first thrown on the griddle.

  • Basil and Garlic oil
  • Rosemary Oil
  • Old Bay
  • Butter
  • Splash of lemon juice

This is an 11" x 18" skillet.

He did offer, but I always have Killians on tap, so we went with the draft.

I love Striper (we call them Rockfish in the MD area) and that looks like a nice filet your friend brought over. I have to wait until next year to go catch some more, your making me wish I froze some.
