 Found Paulk's post and like Paulk looking for a good slicer with out breaking the bank.

I just bought this one...Its good. Gear drive, 150 watt motor.,  and metal. 8-1/2" blade easy to clean, rubber feet and the price is Right -on  my budget.,,.most others are 6-7-1/2"

Good choice to avoid the cheapies.
