Rubbed it with light oil, then used cajun shake.  Placed it breast side down for the first cpl hours then will flip it over for the rest of the cook. It's 4 AM... Ready for a for a low and slow smoke:

Well, It is a little too cold for me to go outside today(Momma's rule-cause she Loves me and is watching over me ; I do dumb things sometimes)

So here is the Turkey that I was gonna Smoke,so I spiced and Buttered her and Baked at 300*f for 4.5hrs. Breast@168* and Thigh @ 181*f=perfect!

Here it is before the Mob gets it :

The neck and juice will be our Gravy, and we got some Cranberry Delight at Kroger made some dressing and a wedge of lettuce for a Salad.

All in all , we had a great Turkey day...

Here's the final product.  I slowed it down to 200-ish but overall averaged 215 grill level temp for 8 hrs even though I slowed it down at about the 6.5 hr to coast into final temp because I thought it was going to be done too soon. google_ad_section_end
