Monday Brisket

Fired up the Weber Kettle and smoked abrisket for the first time here at the new location (Island hopped a couple months ago). Last time on St Thomas I actually found a brisket. Here is how rare that is...when I went to check out the lady never seen dem before, plus it wasnt even in "the machine". She ended up ringing it out as a 1 pound beef for $26.36

Used a tweaked version of Jeff's rub and some mix of hickory & maple in the AMNPS. Never did get any in-process qview, sorry! But it did turn out wonderful, wifey very happy and we had some for dinner tonight with a baked potatoe (added smoked cheddar and butter). Got all excited to eat, mixed up the spud and then remembered to click one off. Bear view:
Not too pretty but very delicious!

Kettle held a steady 220 temp for 7 hours then spiked at the end after I added a few more pieces of charcoal, but did what I intended to do. Thanks for looking!
