Hello everyone,

 My name is Shawn, live on the East Coast in Maryland. Long time griller new smoker here :)

 The wife and I don't have days off together and I am working this Thanksgiving sooooooo I decided it's time for me to start smoking. I am smoking a turkey for her and I for the Fri after the holidays so we can have a nice thanksgiving dinner together for a change.

 I picked up the Brinkmann vertical charcoal smoker few days ago, seasoned it today. Been reading the forum for about a week getting tips and info.

 I'll be around because this is already turning out to be addictive HAHA

 Anyway,
