Spoke to Kathryn tonite and the saga continues. It seems that when he was at KU hospital they started him on blood thinners and when he left the hospital not only did they not remember to remove the IV inlet they forgot to list the blood thinners on the chart of meds he was receiving.  Last night he was in lots of pain and they discovered a blood clot in his leg. 

They are going to attack the clot and see if that helps to get him mobile again.  In the meantime he is bed ridden- 

Somehow he is able to read you posts but is not able to reply so thanks to everyone who has been responding
