My daughter called from college,

Daughter: "Dad, I'm having a Bbq can you come"

Dad :        " Sure, Love to"

Daughter : "Can you bring your smoker??

Dad :        "Sure, I can. What are you bbqing?

Daughter : "Whatever you want to bbq."

I get it, I'm buying all the meat and doing all the  bbqing!!!!

Sounds good to me !!!!

So we had pulled pork in the freezer we could bring, went and got some chicken quarters to smoke.

Did some shrimp (like in Jeff's newsletter a few month back)

PIZZA ABT"s that "MIAMIRICK" posted (love these, it's the best abt's so far)

baked beans, chicken bites and pig candy

here a few Q-views :

got to love a Full Smoker. Had to stack 2 shrimps and baked beans on top of each other to get it all on.

the chicken has Jeff's rub on it

chicken bites are from boneless skinless thighs. I cut them up put little olive oil in a baggie and jeff's rub mix it up

and wrap in bacon.

the pizza ABT's. and pig candy went on after the shrimp came off

Full smoker??? Sheesh, I used to load up my SnP 40 a few years ago, but triple stacked steam pans wasn't part of the equation.

What a load, and what a spread of great eats!

I bet the feeling of knowing that your daughter missed your smoking enough to ask you to bring it out feels good, too!

Everything looks delicious!

I love seeing a full smoker, the food always tastes better when the smoker is full.

I have a feeling you will be asked to do this again in the future!

Thanks everone. It was a great time . I told my wife i need bigger smoker ,on wheels. It was fun trying to get everything in the smoker
My dad came down for the bbq ( 1 1/2 drive for him) he built a "L" shape shelf out of red cedar to go on my smoker and gave it to me that day. Looks great !!! Its Lot bigger then the shelf that came with the smoker

So it was 3 generations?! That's awesome! You're a good dad to jump in and help your kid out that way. Sounds like it runs in the family.

Full smoker is the only way to go.
They decided that thansgiving will be at my daughtes apartment
This year and im smoking the turkey

Chicken bites are great to snack on while everything else is cooking.
as far as shrimp its just jeff's rub and butter in the pan.
