I want to start by thanking Al Gore for creating the internet, and to all of you here on this forum who have been touched by the "Smoking Gods".

My Name is Steve. I'm a 37 year old, married, father of a 13 year old son. I've been a metal fabricator for 15+ years and currently reside in Western KY. Born in Nashville and lived in Milwaukee for the most part of my life.

Ever since I can remember, I have always been obsessed with cooking. Since moving to KY 2 years ago, I now have a new addiction in the cooking world. Smoking. I recently made my own smoker(description in my photo), and I think my oven and grill are plotting a "revenge" against me, since bringing it home. I mean, sure, my oven makes great food too, and my grill... Come on, who doesn't love a nice fat juicy grilled burger? But my smoker? Who can beat smokey goodness? No One, Not even Chuck Norris can beat my smoker!!

I look forward to sharing all my fanatical photos and smoking procedures/tips/hints with all of you who share the passion of food and smoking.

Not sure what you mean by "step", But I am 3 smokes in without much influence from others. I've smoked a few times on my Weber Performer on previous occasions(Turkey for Thanksgiving, Hams at Christmas), So I have the concept down. I just built a new toy and would like expand my horizons. Now the "creative juices" are ready to flow.
