Yea, Nice Collection!! Thanks, I got a sweet deal on it.

Pellets are 6% - 8% moisture when manufactured

I suppose they could gain a little moisture, but not much

Just checked my sawdust supply, and it ranges between 6% - 9%

Pellets are coming in at 8%

Preheating pellets would dry them and they would burn even better

My goal is to try them all and with all the mouthwatering BearViews on here it shouldn't take too long!

BTW.....i used my dust and pellet smoker at the same time in my MES 40 yesterday ( i needed more smoke than normal)   both did ok, the pellet one went out though.....UNTIl i put a charcoal started on top to add some height to the vent............AND BAM, it helped the airflow so much that it actually caused the dust smoker to burn through too fast!    I had read Todd say that by getting a small smoke stack on top of the vent helped with airflow and MAN he was right, night and day difference!
