I used a 3lb bird (Spatchcocked)

Injected with

20 oz Water

2 Tbl Spoons Kosher Salt

2 Tbl Spoons Lemon Juice 

½ Cup Light Brown Sugar

Then rubbed with some sweet "Poverty Hill" rub.

Smoked with Kingsford and Cherry in the AMZN

I smoked at 285º and the pellets held up well.

Pulled at 175º in the breast

Man this thing was juicy!

The injection really does the trick.

It doesn't change the taste of the bird, it helps accent it.

Yes I inject quite often, I have experimented with 2 birds,one injected and one without.

The one with the injection is noticeably more tender and juicy.

I  inject all of my whole birds now.
