Is it possible to find a GOSM at a brick and mortar store or do you always have to go online through walmart?

That's odd - I have two bass pros within an hour of my house so I checked their website but I don't see that brand listed. Was trying to figure out if they were on their site before making the drive.
They do sell MasterBuilt and, it looks somewhat similar but I'm not sure that's the same thing.
Any further intel ?

I bought mine at Gander Mountain, but last time I was in there all I saw were smoke vaults. I think the Block and mortors just follow the greatest profit margin these days.
My Walmart has them from time to time. I think they must buy a large amount & when there gone that's it until they get another deal on them.

Every Home Depot that I have been to this summer (and that's quite a few as I'm renovating an old house) has had a few of the 18" models. They only started stocking them this summer.
Thanks for the home depot tip. I haven't seen one in the HD closest to my house but will check at a few others around the area.
I see you're listed as being in DC. Would you say that the HDs you've seen them in are on the MD or VA side of town ?
I'm in MD but further north by Baltimore.
What I'm trying to do is actually put my hands on one rather than having to go 'site to store' through Walmart. I've done the site to store thing before on other stuff but from all the comments I read, it seems that there's a relatively high instance of GOSMs arriving dented/damaged, etc. and I just wanted to avoid the drama.
The walmart close to my house sucks -- good prices but the place seems like it's always falling apart (only a 3 year old store) and the employees don't really seem to care.
Someone else mentioned GOSMs at Bass Pro but I couldn't find them on their website. I wanted to get a little more of a definite before taking an hour drive to either Arundel Mills or Harrisburg, PA.

Even better, if you ever have reason to be in Alexandria VA there is an appliance store down there that inexplicably sells both the 18.5" and 22" at substantially under retail. They always have an ad running on Craig's list for the WSMs.
