We have had so little rain that there's this lake right down the road from me that is so low one can walk way out into it. I do have plans on laying do a 10X10 section of pavers and solve any future problems of a Governor's burn ban!

you should feed the neighbors so they don't turn you in and when the man comes to give you the ticket feed him to
My neighbor has a smoker, but not sure he knows how to use it (Btw, he works for the city and might just be the guy who would report me). Funny thing is yesterday I had to make a run to the store. When I come home I saw bellows of smoke coming from what I thought was my backyard. I put my dang truck in park as fast as I could, and ran into the back yard. I expected to see a fire that was sparked from my smoker. I saw nothing but nice thin blue smoke.... WTH, I then looked into my neighbor's backyard and their grill with lid on. Only the Lord knows how many pounds of burgers was up in flames!

They came running out of the house screaming and cussing, and I went into my house HAPPY that it wasn't my smoker!

That's a great way to celebrate the lift on the ban

Had a run in witht he local fire dept several years ago, was going to cite me for no burn permit.  told him I was going to let the brush pile burn down so we could cook weenies and marshmallows.  Come to find out, the burn ban in Florida doesn't include cooking fires.

Here the burn ban means it has to be in a controled  burn .I have a lid for my burn barrel it's the law here.A grill grate can pass as a lid.
