Hi. I just received a Brinkmann Smoke 'N Grill today. i have a really old charcoal grill that I have used as a smoker a few times (ribs and chicken twice, fish twice, brisket once). My son's 2nd birthday is next week, and we're having family over, and I was going to do ribs and chicken. Unfortunately, the grill wasn't big enough to accommodate everything I would need to cook, so I convinced my wife I needed a smoker. :-). I was going to try some ribs this weekend to see how it does.

I'm 34 and live in Cincinnati. married, 1 kid, 2 dogs. I look forward to learning a lot from everyone here.

Hey JB, welcome to SMF.  It's a great place with lots of people who know their stuff, and are happy to share knowledge.  I know I have learned a lot from these folks.

Good to see another Buckeye on board.
