Good idea getting your 22" a mate to keep it company on those cold nights.

I had to go to an old fashioned hardware store to find them.  That's the one item you'll have to search for.  That's why I included the manufacturer and part number.  I didn't have any luck at the big box stores for large enough hasps.

That is one sweet looking WSM shelter.  A guy could take that down the road.  Course, it'd look really cool if you dressed up the exterior as an old-fashioned outhouse.  That would get some looks.  Yep, really jealous now.

Dave - one more...  Are zinc-plated parts OK for cooker interior use?  I know galvanized means zinc-coated, but they're not quite one-and-the-same.

Here's a direct quote from WIKIPEDIA

Galvanization (or galvanisation) is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to metal, in order to prevent rusting and galvanic corrosion. The term is derived from the name of Italian scientist Luigi Galvani.

Although galvanization can be done with electrochemical and electrodeposition processes, the most common method in current use is hot-dip galvanization, in which steel parts are submerged in a bath of molten zinc.

Now you know why I prefer stainless.  For a few pennies more, I don't have to wonder.

Yep, absolutely!  I was able to find some parts I wanted but zinc-plated, so I'll hold off until I can find the SS.

Thanks again for your input!  It was invaluable.  I'll follow up and post my mods when I'm finished.
