My wife convinced both sides of the family to pitch in and buy me a new smoker for my birthday this past july and we picked up the Char Griller Super Pro with SFB.  I made a few mods to it after my first smoke/grill on it. Here is list of what has been done to date:

1. Extended the exhaust stack to the grate level

2. Made a custom charcoal box that sits on some angle iron to keep it above the side damper

I plan on adding some bigger wheels, dual thermometers in the lid, a baffle plate, and a charcoal box made out of some expandable metal. ( the local stores were out of it, so in the mean time I am using a steel veggie grill basket instead)  I seasoned the rig with 2 chimneys of lump charcoal, hickory chunks, and some veggie oil.  Here are some pics of the mods and some Q shots as well. Still learning how she cooks, but at least with the above mods, the temps are within 20 degrees of each end of the smoker.
