Found a nice double slab bag of ribs at Sav-a-lot and figured we do them for the holiday weekend. Got the smoke at 225º and after throwing some MDM Rub along with some Mesquite rub (sat in fridge overnight) threw them on the smoker. Using Cherry and Oak for the wood.

After 3 1/2 hours and an occasional spritz of Apple juice/Makers Mark, headed for the foil.

Only gave them about 1 1/2 hours in the foil.

Extremely juicy. From here I place them on a hot grill (ala Al) for around 20 minutes or so. Also slathered on some Blue Front Bar-b-que sauce. Was hoping to get a little more bite from the ribs, but still very tender, with some parts wanting to fall off the bone.

Didn't get any complaints any way and the wife loved them.

Looking good.

And yes - it seems the pictures are auto sizing.. I know that one's I posted weren't that small.

Ribs look good!

I read somewhere the site was auto-sizing, but the pics do seem smaller these days?

Good luck and good smoking.

Hmm, are we doing auto sizing on the photos now??
I guess the bigger pictures were slowing the pages down.

I can zoom in to a much bigger size---Hopefully everyone can.

Your ribs look awesome zoomed in, Flash!!!

I just hope they don't think about how fast everything would work without any pictures at all!!!

Yes, you can click the picture for a full size image. I would not don't it has something to do with server issues. This ribs tasted outstanding. We had not had any in a while and both the wife and neighbors really enjoyed them. The MDM rib rub appears to carry quite a bit of sugar, but it cooks off alot in the smoke. It is fast becoming my wife's go to rub.

Yes, for any who do not know or forgot.  Hold down CTRL and wind the mouse scroll button.  You will have to do that in reverse to get the page back to normal size.

This is an old fart skill for those of us with old eyes.  LOL

The ribs looked great!

Good luck and good smoking.

WOW auto Bear View..what will they think up next ???  Real nice ribs no matter what size the pic is...

That increased the text, but did nothing to the picture.

All I do is left click on the picture, and the pic gets as big as it was when it was put in.

However, some others have said that doesn't work for them.

Mine is an iMac, but I know many PC owners zoom in that way too.
