okay,, am done.  Both ends and middle are at least at 195,, so tired,, I must sleep.  But it is damn good,, brine helped keep it juicy and I taste the Italian herbs in it.  I am just too tired now to pull the rest of it,, gonna wrap n let wife play in the morning,, for her,, still be bedtime for me :)

I think it turned out rather well.

Nope, I wouldn't miss the finish on this one, Bear. I got unlimited internet on my blackberry now, so, even with no Puter, won't stop me.

You live through it, Larry? Figured you'd need at least 8 hrs sleep to recover...been there, dozens of times, myself. Love to see it finished, and hear what your wife thinks...bet she'll want before long.

So, I'm being patient to see some pics of PP and a sammy...after you get your brain defragmentation completed, that is...LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pic is just a couple posts prior.  I didnt get much sleep, am hoping too tonight.  Though , the other 7# is going on 8 tonight ;)  Wife said was most tender she has had but wants me to put some bbq on it the last couple hours, she said still not quite the same flavor of the very first one we cooked.  So,, will see what happens.  Its already half gone,, we gave to her mom n dad :)

Glad to hear it was a success.

That's one thing about PP (and most other smoked meats)....there's an endless supply of ways to make it exactly how you like it.

Sundays PP with Qview.  This is the 2nd half of the 14#.  Coated with bbq sauce for wife, took about 15 hours.

Nice! Ha-ha!!! You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty with smokey goodness!

Hmmm...I guees this means your wife is already knowledgable of wanting pics of your food for bragging rights...assuming she was your photographer.

Any thoughts for your next smoking adventure, or are you just gonna play it ear? I pretty much just shoot from the hip, myself....no lists, just smoke whatever feels right at the time...no self-inflicted pressure or premature expectations that way.

heh,, it was the wife pulling, I was photographer.  Next project is gonna be a big ham for pulling.  Mother n law is begging for another one and more leftover.  She didnt get enough from last one :)  Again, thanks for your help Eric and to everyone else.  I am feeling a lot more comfortable MES and even forgetting about clock and going by temp.

Ah, OK, not saying her hands looked rough like a working man's hands...the view on my blackberry gets a bit grainy when I zoom in, just so she doesn't take offense...LOL!!!

Yeah, ya gotta keep the in-laws happy, too...pulled ham sounds like a great project...I've always sliced mine, but then, I've sliced a coulpe bone-in butts, too.
