Here's my first attempt at a couple of fatties, the first one I did I used Italian saugae. I stuffed it with mozzerla cheese, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, and some sweet peppers as well as banana peppers. The second one I done I actually got some large chicken breast and pounded them out. Then added a layer of swiss cheese, a layer of bacon and mushrooms and banana peppers. Trying to roll it into shape was the tuff part. I was pleased how it turned out, especially for using chicken breast. Unfortunately by the time I cut them, they were gone. I forgot to get a picture of them cut open. Everyone loved them, and definately the hit of the night. I definately will be doing these again in the near future.

Hi Gotcha929,

As a new member and a novice, these fatties look real good. Just elaborate a bit more on how you actually put them all together so that they held their shape so well.

Man, I am impressed.  Something to look forward to when I have some spare time.

Best Regards,

Hey guys thanks for all the comments. I am wanting to hit the bbq competitions next year, and hoping to learn as much as possible from the great people on this site. Next time I will make sure to be a little more informative on the whole process, with more pics (step by step). And a picture of the final cut fattie. Anyways I will have plenty more pics to post. Well everyone have a great morning, and if you could say a little prayer for me and my wife. On the way to take her to the hospital for our third child. We have a Fisher, a Sailer....and now River will be born sometime this afternoon.

thanks.

Travis
