Hi my name is Kirby, and I'm just getting started in the world of smoking and bbq.  I started out with char-broil grill/smoker (it was small) and called myself moving up to a bigger grill/smoker by getting a Masterbuilt Classic Barrel Grill with Firebox. Grilling with it I have had no problems, tho I haven't really did any thing major other dogs, burgers, wings, and a steak once or twice. Since trying to use it as a smoker I haven't been very successful as of yet.   I've already posted concerning my issue with heat, so I wont go into that here.

With in my circle of friends no one really smokes so I wanted to be the first at it and eventually become the neighborhood pitmaster but obviously I've gotta ways to go.  I'm reading and watching stuff online and when my honey-do list permits I try my hand at something.  I'm looking forward to growing and improving.

Thanks in advance for your help and assistance.
