Hey gang, I'm Raymond, recently married and looking to step up my BBQ skiils. I got indirect grilling down pretty good, in my oh so humble opinion. I've smoked a brisket and a few other things but I guess I always ended up indirect grilling instead of the long low & slow. Well all that has changed now, I'm ready to get a hell of a lot better, hopefully, at low and slow.

My setup is a 10 or 11 year old Bar B Chef offset smoker, that I bought new, I just recently added a BBQ Guru DigiQ DX to the mix. I'm 29 years of age, worked for an onsite barbeue (grill & indirect grilling) company for four years and  have cooked for a few thousand on that job (def not bragging) I'm an out of work EMT, I am completely burnt out on the job. Although I'm search of a new job like millions of others, I want to dive further into my hobby. I just recently refinished my grill but here is a pic, and me doing 8 tri tips for my birthday...

Oh by the way I'm from smoggy So. Cal. :-)

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I think the hardest thing for me would be the Qview, I rarely take pictures of anything, just not a photo kind of guy.

Yes sir it sure is! Thanks again for the warm welcome everyone.
