If I use a cure (Morton's Tender Quick) in my marinade can I marinate it for more than 24 hours?  I was thinking about 48 hours, but don't want to mess anything up.  I am using alelover's jerkey recipe
.

Worked great on my first run, but I want to get it going tonight to smoke on Thursday, and since I will be busy tomorrow night I was wondering what would happen if I did it now and let it sit for more than 24 hours.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sorry for the newbie mistake, but I see somebody just asked it down the line.  I have been reading these forums for the last 3 months since I got my smoker and can't believe I missed it.  Thanks guys.

No problem, don't forget the camera.
