They have moved her from ICU to a private room, she refused hospice, they have taken off all life support and put her on morphine max so she is comfortable and is in no pain and she is going into a coma, it won't be much longer. They almost lost her a couple days before but she fought back until Linda and I could get here so she could see us and tell us goodbye; we made it just in time. My employer, RadioShack, was wonderful letting me go on a moments notice and has put in an emergency vacation time so I could be here with Linda. I have known Rosie Mae since first meeting Linda, over 42 years ago, that's one year less than I knew my own mother from the time I was born until her death. She has been as much of my family to me as has been for Linda. A former VP once told me, "Like your job, love your family, don't ever mix up the two...". Truer words were never spoken, and the love of friends and family enhances both!
