Pork Shanks???

Today I stopped by the local meat market and grabbed some spare ribs that I will be smoking tomorrow.  They had pork shanks on sale so I bought a few.  Has any ever smoked them?  I am going to give it a go tomorrow AM.  I have the ribs and shanks all rubbed up and in the fridge for the big event tomorrow.  Soup

I've smoked shanks before but usually buy them already smoked. Easier.

X2.  If you want to throw them on with another smoke, that would work.  Firing up the smoker just for shanks probably wouldn't pay for the difference in price between fresh and smoked shanks.
