Hello everyone! I live in Oregon, purchased a MES 30 a few weeks back. I've always loved good BBQ and loved it even more since we lived in Texas for a few years.
I've been reading the forums a lot lately and have even purchased the AMPS and will be using it on my brisket tomorrow (wish me luck on the brisket).
I've read a lot of complaints on the MES and I have to say mine has worked flawlessly and even made pretty good smoke with the chips. I love how you can use the remote to change the temp and check the meat temp with out going outside. I love it and couldn't be happier except with a MES 40 of course
I also purchased Jeff's Naked Rib Rub recipes and will try them on the brisket
