i took the day off to just do nothing all day

so i made some wings for lunch

i gave them a good dusting of cajun seasoning

here they are in the GOSM with a buddy who will be dinner!

check out my fancy thermometer with the paperclip holder

right out of the smoker ready for step two

after a nice bath of hot sauce,   basically equat parts butter and franks hot sauce mixed together

a layer of cheese

then add a layer of bacon chopped up

My buddy waiting patiently for a taste

ready for lunch   check out how the cheese holds all the bacon in place  underneath is the layer of hot sauce combined with the smoke and the cajun spice rub   its a party!!!

these were absolutely the best wings ever 

gotta go work on dinner

They sound good. I never heard of cheese and bacon on wings before. What flavor smoke do you use, what temp, and how long do you keep them in smoker?

LOL, I remember the night my wife and I went to one of those $1.00 movie theaters and ordered Chicken HOT Wings and beer along with Chili Cheese Fries covered with bacon.

 We swore NEVER AGAIN.

   It was just too much.

very simple   just microwave some butter and pour hot sauce in stir and its good to go   i pour it in a large country crock butter container and add wings close lid and shake it up
