Got this forwarded from a customer, and for some reason opened it.

This will make you think differently about peeling potatoes


It's something I've never seen before


Definitely worth taking a look!!!

Yup - I saw the a while back and have tried it. I have had pretty good success with it but they don't all come off that easy LOL

What a trip!! I, however, love to eat the skins..  Even in my potato salads, I leave the skins on.

That's how I peel mine except for the scoring thing. She did a much better job than I do. I always liked her better than Ginger.

I don't usually forward these things

Kinda like parboailing tomatoes, before you peel them

My kids won't eat mashed potatoes with the skins.

I asked my dad once (he was in the army in the war) what KP stood for... he just laughed and said it meant  "Keep Peeling!"

In the time you wait to boil the water you could of peeled the potatoes.Good idea though.

Just bought a bag of California New Potatoes... light, thin skins you don't have to peel, and delicious too!  Mom used to crave new potatoes; we'd have them chunked and boiled with the skins on, with gobs of butter and loads of fresh peas lightly boiled just to slightly firm.... add some corn-on-the-cob, yellow squash, grilled pork chops in Cornell marinade  and it was summer heaven!
