I hope I am posting this in the correct forum and if not, I apologize. I was wondering if anyone out there has been in the bbq catering business? I am looking into starting my own catering business in TULSA and hopefully making enough money to buy a mobile bbq trailor and go full time. So I have a few questions and appreciate any advice given. 1.) What are the legalities you have to go through in order to be a certified caterer. I read that you are not supposed to use your home kitchen to cook and prep but I know many caterers disregard that rule. 2.) If you have catered or owned your own mobile bbq trailor, how was it? What were the pro's and con's? 3.) I am having trouble finding a meat vendor to buy wholesale, does anyone know of a good quality meat (Beef & Pork) vendor in the tulsa area? I am sure I will have many more questions but these ones would really help me out right now.
