When the wife wants BBQ chicken it time to deliver... I made my own little rub (mixed on a plate) brown sugar, cardamom, ground pepper, sea salt, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder. I didn't have any tooth pics so I went out to my wood pile and made some doug fir slivers to keep the bacon on. After the rub and bacon is on the next stage is simple. Cook the little bastards.
Looks like the heats on low but I had the grill super hot prior to this shot to put a quick sear on them.

Bad pic but you get the idea.. Had some hickory pellets left in my AMAZ-N pellet thingy so I figured a little smoke is better then no smoke
I had some Walla Walla sweet onions left over that I had pickled for some pulled pork sliders.. What the hell, add them to the mix..
This turned out even better then it looks. Wish I had taken a bear view of the finished product. The onions got charred up nicely. Mmmmmm Good.
