Start with some medium sized potatoes. Boiled for 15 minutes.

Peeled the skins off 2 of them. Saved the rest in the fridge for frying at a later date.Had some pastrami sliced already and a leftover smoked short rib.

Diced everything up. Including some onion.

Started frying the taters and onion together in some butter with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Did a quick chop of the meat in my little Cuisinart chopper.

Once the potatoes started browning I added the meat with a cup of water and simmered for about 15 minutes.

It was awesome. Best hash I ever had. And so easy.

Thanks for watching.

Unless your camera is off, those taters look a little green.  Exposure to light or sun causes that I think, although it doesn't affect the cooking attributes all that much except for purists.

Great looking hash.  Nothing like some home made hash!

Good luck and good smoking.

Great looking hash!

I think I need to make some pastrami, just so I can make some hash!

Nice Qview -- thanks!
