I got started yesterday with my small RF build.  My tank is 20"x48" and will bemounted on a stationary stand outside my shop so that we can work and Q at the same time.  Here are some pics of the progress so far.

Tank up on its new stand.

"Simple"????  I'd hate to think what complex would look like!  LOL!  Nice to have such a great facility to cut, bend & weld.  That's gonna be a sweet rig!

Thanks guys.  Collecting tools is a hobby of mine.  Been collecting for about the last 15 years and have amassed a pretty good collection of tools.  The plasma table is the latest addition and it makes stuff like this so much nicer.  It took 2 years to build, mostly to collect funding and time.  Where have I heard that before "money and time"?

Thinking about making a flaming pig to weld to the front to gussy it up a bit, lol.

Back to work, more pics tonight.

Some updated pics.  Got the firebox mounted and the baffle plate is in.  Need to order some spring handles and a thermometer.  Getting excited!!

Shezzzz I can't figure out which is nicer, the smoker or the plasma table......Right now I am leaning toward the table, that could change tho if a flaming pig shows up on the smoker.

Did you build the table from scratch or just the frame and buy the other components. Also, what cutter are you running?

We sourced the electronics package and built the rest from scratch.  I'm running a Hypertherm POwermax 65 on the table.  I have the pig drawn up and ready to cut out as soon as I get closer to being finished with the smoker.

Nice. I love plasma cutters. Is that CNC controlled?
Yep.  Running it with Mach3 software.  It's a hobby level control software with not so hobby level features and control.

The hinges make me think of the movie Armageddon......(Please DO NOT SIT on the thermo nuclear weapon Please)     Sorry I'm just having a moment....

Looks great!  Question on your hinges.  Does this help keep the door from warping the way it appears it does?
That was my theory when I made them.  I'm happy to report that the door held it's shape great without warping.  The holes in the end are 1" diameter and I'm either going to use a hardwood dowel for the handle or a piece of polished stainless tubing.  My thoughts are that the hollow tube would keep it cool enough to touch, but not 100% sure that will work.

SWWEEET build you got going as it has been said before with tools like that you earned a spot in the "you have earned the U-Suck award  "

see Tom he gives these out..
