Doing my first smoke in years and thought I would gets some pointers on making our yard birds taste good... Im basically starting from scratch and this site seems to have many helping hands, so any input would be so helpful...

thanks

Beer can chicken or turkey is easy & almost always turns out delicious. I would brine the bird over night. Then put your favorite rub on & smoke at 275-300 degrees until the breast is 165 & the thighs are 175. Use the search & type beer can chicken. There are loads of recipes. Good luck.

thanks Al Im excited to get back to it, my father is and AWESOME smoker but lives in PA and Im in Ok....  SO the help from you all is great..
